Cook a dinner

During shelter season, dinner is provided by volunteers: families, friends, coworkers, congregations. Bring a meal for ten. Involve your family and kids in preparing food, it's a great way to engage in community service together.

Give the things we need

Our Amazon wish list is always current: personal care items, grocery cards, and household goods for women moving into their own places. Please note we can't accept clothes, toys, or furniture; we simply don't have the space to store them.

Volunteer your skills

Résumé coaching, mock interviews, computer help, financial literacy, tutoring for certifications. If you have a professional skill, a resident can probably use it. A few hours can change the direction of a job search.

Offer a skill

Join the board or a committee

Rebecca's Tent is governed by a working volunteer board. If you have experience in fundraising, operations, communications, or just the willingness to work, we'd like to meet you.

Ask how you can volunteer

And if time isn't what you have to give, money keeps the lights on and the beds warm.
