Why Rebecca’s Tent?

The most famous bearer of the name Rebecca was the wife of Isaac and mother of Jacob and Esau in Genesis. When Isaac’s father, Abraham, sent his servant to find a wife for his son Isaac he met Rebecca who not only offered a drink to the traveler but drew water for his camels and provided a place in her family’s home for him to lodge. Her deeds depict the essence of what the shelter provides to those who are served.
